Territorial Behaviour and Goldcrest neighbours

A pair of goldcrest (Europe’s smallest bird – more info here) appear to be using the conifers as part of their territory – they nest in conifers so there’s a good chance there will be fledglings from them too at some point.  Took this photo  just a moment ago.

The male blue tit is obviously not pleased to have them around – lots of chasing behaviour.
